Brocante de Vanves
The other Paris flea market — smaller, friendlier, less touristy than Saint-Ouen. Sets up along Avenue Marc Sangnier and Avenue Georges Lafenestre in the 14th, Saturday and Sunday mornings only, 7 am to 14:00.
Métro Porte de Vanves (line 13). Best before 11 am — the dealers pack up by 14:00 and the good stuff is gone by noon. Cash. Negotiate but politely; this is where Parisians shop, not where tourists are scammed. Bring a bag.
