Every place on par.is is hand-picked, and every pick is re-checked continuously: a batch is verified each morning against the venue's own site, OpenStreetMap and a real browser render, and anything the machines cannot confirm is researched by hand before we decide. Nothing is quietly deleted. When we conclude a place has probably closed we say so, keep its page up, and show the evidence here.
