Parc André-Citroën
Built in the 1990s on the old Citroën factory site, a hard-edged garden of glasshouses, themed walled plots and a broad lawn sloping to the Seine. Computer-timed water jets cross a central terrace, and children stand in them all summer.
The white tethered balloon that rises ~150 metres is a paid ride, not needed to enter. The riverside lawn is the place to sit.
